Wednesday February 10, 2010
4:00-4:30pm - Olympic Torch Parade and Pizza Party (Skaters Ages 3-10) Skaters will design and make their own torches. Torches are to be no more than 15 inches high and no real flame will be allowed! Parade will take place inside Sharks Ice on and off the ice. All torches will be on display throughout the Olympic Games
4:30-5:00pm - Pizza party for parade participants with skating and games
5:30-7:00pm - Future Champions "Go for the Gold" Moves Event Skaters will be divided into appropriate skating levels and divided into groups of 3. All skaters will perform 3 manuvers. Each participant will receive a medal. Entry Deadline for this event is February 3 and there is a $5 entry fee. Schedule is now available HERE

4:30-5:15pm - Give Ice Dance A Try Give Ice Dance a Try with Olympic Gold Medalist Sergei Ponomarenko. This class is free of charge for skaters gamma level and above. Class size is limited. Participants must enroll online by clicking HERE
5:15-6:15pm - Give Speed Skating A Try This class is free of charge taught by professional instructors for skaters beta level and above. Class size is limited. Participants must enroll online by clicking HERE
6:15-7:15pm - Figure Skating Exhibitions Free figure skating exhibition featuring Sectional and National competitors presented by the Peninsula Figure Skating Club. The public is welcome to come and watch our present and future champions. As a special treat, National Champion Rudy Galindo will be on hand to say hello. More information about the Peninsula Figure Skating Club will be available.

8:00-9:00am - Parent & Child Hockey Event This class will be taught by our professional coaches for children ages 3-10 and a parent. This class requires both parent and and child to have full gear. Participants must enroll online by clicking HERE *Please note that each enrollment is valid for 1 parent and 1 child.
9:15-10:15am - Give Hockey & Skating A Try This is an introductory hockey class on on half of the rink and skating class on the other half. This class is free of charge and equipment will be provided for the hockey class. Hockey and Skating seminars for the parents will take place in Stanley's restaurant. Information on joining our class lesson program will be provided. Class size is limited. Recommended age is 3-12 years old. Participants must enroll online by clicking HERE. Please make sure you select either 'Hockey' or 'Skating' when enrolling.
10:30-11:30am - Bring A Friend Class Lesson Party Currently enrolled class lesson students are invited to bring friends to a "Celebration of the Winter Games". Information on our 6 week skating series will be provided that we are currently enrolling. This is for currently enrolled class lesson students and friends only.
11:45-1:00pm - Mini Mite Youth Hockey Exhibition Sharks Ice Mini-Mite In-House Hockey will take the ice for an Exhibition Game. This game is open to the public to watch
