Sharks Ice at San Jose opens daily at 5:00 AM and remains open until our final scheduled program of the day ends. Hours can vary depending on the day and activity.

What are the hours for Stanley's, the Snack Bar, and the Pro Shop?
Stanley’s:
Weekdays: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Weekends: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Calder’s Sports Bar:
Weekdays: 5:00PM – 10:00PM
Weekends: 11:00 AM – 10PM
Snack Bar:
Weekdays: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Weekends: 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Pro Shop:
Weekdays: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Do I have to pay for parking at the San Jose facility?
Parking is free in our main lot, located directly surrounding the facility. If the lot is full, overflow Sharks Ice parking is available across the street at the SJSU South Parking Garage on Alma.
Guests can receive a discounted rate by checking in at the front desk to get the current garage code.
Be prepared to take a photo of your license plate and pay using your mobile device.
Do I need to pay to enter if I’m just watching?
Not at all! Spectators are always welcome, and there’s no charge to enter the facility.
Is there anywhere warm for me to wait for my child or watch them skate?
Yes! You’ll find several warm viewing areas throughout the facility. Stanley’s Sports Bar overlooks the White, Black, and Orange rinks, Calder’s Sports Bar has views of the Sharks and Grey rinks, and our “Warm Room” near the entrance overlooks the White Rink.
Is this where the San Jose Sharks plays it’s games?
Not quite! The San Jose Sharks play their official games at the SAP Center. Sharks Ice at San Jose is the official practice facility of the San Jose Sharks. Tech CU Arena is also the new home to the AHL's San Jose Barracuda!
Do you have food and beverage options available?
Yes! We have multiple food and drink options, including the Snack Bar on the first floor, and Stanley’s Sports Bar and Calder’s Restaurant upstairs on the second floor.

I tried contacting a manager/coordinator but haven't heard back. What's the typical response time?
Our managers and coordinators do their best to respond to all inquiries within 24–48 business hours. Please note, many of our managers work non-traditional office hours. If your matter is urgent, please call our main line at 408-279-6000 for immediate assistance.
Do you have a lost and found?
Yes! If you’ve lost something, start by checking with our Skate Rental counter. High-value items may be held in our management office. You can also check with the Tech CU Arena security desk or Sharks Ice front desk for assistance.

Do you offer Wi-Fi?
Yes! We offer complimentary Wi-Fi for all guests. If you have trouble connecting, the front desk is happy to help.
Are pets allowed in the facility?
Only service animals are allowed inside Sharks Ice facilities. We appreciate your understanding.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover, as well as touchless payment options like Apple Pay and Google Pay.
What is your policy on outside food and beverages?
Outside food and beverages are not allowed. Please plan accordingly or enjoy one of our on-site dining options.
Is smoking or vaping allowed at the facility?
Sharks Ice is a completely smoke-free and vape-free facility. This includes all indoor and outdoor areas on our property.
Do I need to sign a waiver to participate in on-ice activities?
Yes, a signed waiver is required for anyone participating in on-ice activities. Most guests complete it online when signing up, but we can also help you fill one out at the front desk.
What should I wear/bring for skating?
Dress in cozy layers that are easy to move in! Bring gloves, a beanie or hat, and be sure to wear socks that cover your ankles if renting skates. Helmets are a smart choice for all skaters, especially little ones and first-timers.
Do you have Locker Rooms available?
Yes, locker rooms are pre-assigned based on programming and team needs. Please note that locker room keys require a valid state ID or Driver’s License to check out.
